47 Of Our Favorite Young Children’s Books
We LOVE books! Young children books are fun and very important to children’s development. Children (and everyone) learn so much from books. Not just about reading, spelling, grammar, and words, but about life! They learn lessons, about their senses, interactions, knowledge, advice, facts, and the world around them. Our pediatrician’s office actually gave us a couple of these books! They give each kid a book at their well visits – how cool is that?!
There are so many amazing books, I can’t list them all. Many of these you may already heard of. However, I will do my best to pick books that I feel are both entertaining but also educational. Many of these books were recommended to me by my teacher friends and family! Check them out and let me know what you think! Have any you think I should add to this list?
If you don’t have a library card and go regularly, I highly recommend it. It’s a super fun family activity that we do monthly.

Teacher Recommended
When I asked my sister-in-law (Elementary School Teacher) and friend (Special Education Interventionist) about what educational and entertaining young children’s books they recommend, this is what they sent me!
Don’t forget that many of these books can be found on Youtube as well! People make videos reading children books and share them on Youtube. My daughter enjoys this when we don’t have a particular book.
